There are many food traditions associated with CNY, with certain dishes believed to bring wealth and good luck. At this event, we will recreate the fun and camaraderie of cooking together and watching Chinese comedy movies, as my family has always done at my oldest aunt's house.

Guests are invited to bring any Chinese or Chinese inspired dish of their choice to share. It's no big deal if it's not authentic - we just want to come together and enjoy a pleasant and tasty potluck meal.

This event will take place at our friends the Kolligs' basement. Address and details will be emailed when you register. There will also be Asian themed board games that would be perfect to play for the occasion, such as Takenoko, Lanterns, Tsuro and Four Gardens.
